EXPERIENCE

Cormac Dunne is the founder of Pembroke Property. He has over 18 years experience working in real estate and finance in various markets including Ireland, Europe, U.S, Australia and Singapore.

Most recently Pembroke Property was exclusively contracted for 2+ years by Cerberus and during that time Cormac was responsible for sourcing and acquiring a high-quality industrial/logistics portfolio in Ireland for the SIRE fund, which is a JV partnership between Cerberus and Arrow Capital Partners.
Prior to establishing Pembroke Property, Cormac was head of Real Estate for Pepper Ireland for over 5 years and managed a real estate portfolio valued in excess of €8bn.  This role included devising and implementing complex asset management strategies across all asset classes. During his tenure at Pepper, Cormac oversaw the sale of approx 10,000 assets valued at €1bn.

A key part of this role was managing the real estate due diligence on loan books being sold by pillar banks. Cormac oversaw the real estate diligence on portfolios with assets valued in excess of €30bn. Cormac also sat on Peppers Credit Committee which opined on debt restructures, loan settlements, asset strategy and sales.

Key clients during this period included Goldman Sachs, Carval, Apollo, KKR and Permanent TSB.

Cormac played a pivotal role in establishing “Pepper Money”, a commercial real estate alternative lender. This platform issued over €175m of funding in a 2-year period to over 150 borrowers.  Cormac was a member of the 3-person Credit Committee.

Cormac holds a Degree from Oxford Brooks University in Real Estate Management and prior to Pepper, held roles in Mirvac REIT in Sydney, Keppel REIT in Singapore, Warren Private Clients and Savills, in Dublin.
